4LEAF provided construction management and inspection services on this $3.1 million project. Improvements included the installation of a 36-inch diameter water line, 10-inch diameter water line, and individual water services to large hotels and restaurants. The project also contained storm drain facilities, replacement of the traffic signal system at Las Vegas Boulevard, modification of other signals systems and electrical services, asphalt resurfacing, grading, asphalt paving, signing, striping, and other related items of work.
The Harmon Avenue Relocation project was constructed in the busiest corridor in Las Vegas and included coordination with the New City Center project which consisted of $250 million construction of casinos, bars, shopping, restaurants and clubs on Las Vegas Boulevard. The completion of Harmon Avenue had to meet specific deadlines to allow the opening of the multi-million dollar City Center project. All parties participated in the two jobs worked around the clock to complete work to allow tourists and traveling public access to the New City Center grand opening.
